Before treating, we need to know what's really going on in your body. This 90-minute assessment tells us with data, so we work on what is actually holding you back.
If you've been given exercises, massage or posture corrections and the pain keeps coming back, it's normal to feel frustrated. Those treatments work on the painful area, and often that helps a bit. But when pain lasts for months, what keeps it going is often no longer just the area.
Pain is an alarm produced by the nervous system, not an exact measure of damage. When that alarm has been on for a long time, the system becomes more sensitive: it keeps warning you even when the tissue has already healed. That's why the treatment that used to help stops working.
Your pain can have several causes at once, and each needs different work: a nervous system stuck on alert is not the same as a body that has lost precision in how it senses or moves.
Working on the wrong thing costs you months. The assessment prevents that: it tells us where to start and what doesn't need touching.
We measure how your nervous system regulates itself at rest, its sensitivity and your relationship with pain, how your body perceives what it feels and how it orients itself and keeps its balance. We finish by checking whether you can calm it yourself.
If your pain has lasted more than three months, it's very likely that some tests will show changes. It isn't your fault: it's the footprint persistent pain leaves on the nervous system. Knowing them is what lets us correct them in the following sessions.
A Be Recovered report, in English, French or Spanish, with every result next to its objective value: what came out normal and what needs work. It includes your treatment plan: what we work on in each phase of your sessions and what you do at home.
At the end of treatment we repeat the tests that were off and the report shows what has changed. It's yours: keep it and share it with your doctor if you like.
Assessment (90 min). We talk about your case, run the tests in order and I explain your results. It's paid separately and not billed to the CNS.
Private treatment sessions. We continue together in 45-minute private sessions (€125), with time to work in depth on what the assessment flagged as the priority. If you have a prescription and prefer 20-minute sessions on medical prescription via the CNS, you can also do them with our team.
Final re-measurement. We repeat the tests that were off and compare them with your first assessment.
The assessment and the private sessions that follow are private services: the CNS doesn't reimburse them. Only 20-minute sessions on medical prescription go through the CNS.
It includes the full test battery, an explanation of your results, your personalised report with treatment plan and the re-measurement at the end.
No. The 90-minute assessment and the 45-minute private sessions that follow are private. If you have a medical prescription, you can continue with 20-minute sessions on medical prescription via the CNS with our team.
Not for the assessment or the private sessions. Only for sessions on medical prescription via the CNS.
Tuesdays and Thursdays first thing, 9:20 to 11:00. That way, if we repeat the tests at the end, they're done at the same time of day and the comparison is reliable.
I'll tell you in the same session and, if needed, refer you to your doctor before continuing. The assessment doesn't replace a medical diagnosis.
Comfortable clothes, and avoid coffee, tea, energy drinks and intense exercise in the 3 hours before, because they distort some of the measurements. If you have them, bring your medical reports or imaging.
Choose your day and let's start by measuring.
